Uniform

We expect all children to wear the appropriate school uniform as this is an important part of being an identifiable member of our school community. School uniforms can be purchased from ELTHAM STORE | JK Clothing . If you have any questions about school uniform, please contact the school office.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Our School UNIFORM

Our school uniform consists of:

Grey knitted jumper or Cardigan with Wingfield Logo – available from JK Clothing

White polo shirt

Grey trousers, skirt, pinafore, or smart shorts

Grey or white socks or tights

Plain black shoes or trainers (further details below)

Shoes and Boots

Shoes must be plain black and ‘sensible’ i.e., flat shoes that fasten and are secure on a child’s foot, enabling them to engage safely in all school activities. Trainers may also be worn, but the whole trainer, including the sole and laces, must be plain black. Boots are not part of our school uniform. They may be worn into school on very wet or very cold days, but your child must then change into their school shoes for the school day.

PE Kit

Children in Reception, KS1 and KS2 should bring a PE kit to school. We would recommend that children bring a PE kit into school on Monday and then take it home on Friday to avoid not having a PE kit in school for their PE lessons.

Hairstyles

Please do not send your child to school with dyed hair, shaved designs in their hair, Mohican, or Mohawk hair styles.

Jewellery

Children are not permitted to wear jewellery to school, except for jewellery of special religious significance. If ears are newly pierced, then small stud/sleeper earrings covered by a plaster are acceptable until the piercing has healed, and the earrings can be removed.

Nail Varnish

Children should not wear nail varnish to school.
