The reigning champions got off to a fabulous start with a thumping 5-0 victory. Within 30 seconds, the youngest player in the squad, Afeez, broke through the opposition's defence and won himself a penalty. After he dusted himself down, he thumped the penalty kick into the top left corner. The team continued to play with flair and freedom as the first half progressed. Shortly after Afeez doubled Wingfield's lead, Kylan slalomed his way through the defence and slammed the ball into the back of the net. 3-0. In the second half, the team continued to dominate possession before adding two further goals to complete the rout. The team will be playing their next round of fixtures this Friday, 2^nd February.
