The Last Zookeeper

Over the past few weeks, the children have been deeply engaged in creating a variety of thoughtful and creative projects inspired by the story, The Last Zookeeper.

These projects span multiple forms of expression, including writing, art, and collaborative group work, allowing the children to explore the themes and characters from the story in meaningful ways. Each child has been encouraged to contribute their unique ideas, whether through drawing scenes from the story, writing reflective pieces, or building models that depict key moments or settings from the narrative.

In addition to these impressive individual and group outcomes, the teachers and children have been working together to design and set up vibrant displays in both the corridors and classrooms. These displays serve not only as a showcase of the children’s hard work but also as a way to bring the entire school community together to celebrate the creativity and learning that has taken place. The walls are now adorned with colourful artwork, written reflections, and interactive elements throughout the school. Each display highlights the effort and thoughtfulness put into this project, creating a dynamic and visually stimulating environment that reflects the journey the children have been on while studying The Last Zookeeper. We can't wait to share these outcomes with you during next weeks Parents' Evenings.
